The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro) has initiated plans to extend Pune’s metro network from Ramwadi to Lohegaon Airport, alongside improving connections to the southern suburbs, including Kondhwa, NIBM, Yewalewadi, and Undri.
This development, currently under preparatory stages with the drafting of an Alternative Analysis Report (AAR) and a Detailed Project Report (DPR), is expected to provide a sustainable solution to the city’s growing traffic challenges.
