Maha Metro Floats Tender for Design of Pune Metro Line 5 Stations

Maha Metro has invited bids for detailed design consultancy (DDC) services for 14 elevated stations on Pune Metro Phase 2’s Line 5, which stretches 25.518 km from Khadakwasla to Kharadi, via Swargate and Hadapsar.

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 6, and the earnest money deposit (EMD) has been set at ₹1.85 lakh. The consultancy contract will run for 48 months. Line 5 of Pune Metro is designed to improve east-west connectivity across the city, covering 22 stations, of which this DDC contract targets 14 elevated stations from Dandekar Pul to Kharadi Chowk, excluding viaduct portions within station premises.

The stations covered under this scope are: Dandekar Pul, Swargate North, Seven Loves Chowk, PCB, Race Course, Fatima Nagar, Ramtekdi, Hadapsar, Magarpatta South, Magarpatta Main, Magarpatta North, Hadapsar Railway Station, Sainath Nagar, and Kharadi Chowk. The DDC will be responsible for all architectural, structural, and electro-mechanical designs for the listed stations.

This move is part of Maha Metro’s efforts to accelerate work on Phase 2, aligning with the state’s broader urban mobility and infrastructure goals.
