The Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express, which will connect Hyderabad and Bengaluru, was inaugurated in September 2023, and showcased its prowess by reaching a maximum speed of 110 kmph during a successful trial run.
The train commenced its journey from Kacheguda and glided into Bengaluru’s Yesvantpur railway station. 20-30 minutes ahead of its scheduled arrival time. The train maintained a speed of over 100 kmph between Dharmavaram and Yesvantpur, which contributed to its punctuality.
The Express is expected to cover a total distance of 609.81 km in just 8 hours and 30 minutes, reducing the travel time by one to two hours. The train consists of seven chair car coaches and one executive car coach and is expected to operate six days a week.
