Superfast Special Train Between Bandra and Ahmedabad on Jan 24-25
In an effort to accommodate the extra passenger demand, Western Railway has announced the operation of a Superfast Special Train between Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad. This special service, running at a special fare, will help clear the additional rush of passengers during the peak travel period.
Train No. 09461, the Bandra Terminus to Ahmedabad Superfast Special, will depart from Bandra Terminus at 05:35 am on Saturday, 25 January 2025, and is expected to reach Ahmedabad at 1:45 pm on the same day. In return, Train No. 09462, the Ahmedabad to Bandra Terminus Superfast Special, will depart from Ahmedabad at 8:00 pm on Friday, 24 January 2025, and is scheduled to reach Bandra Terminus at 04:20 am the following day.
The special train will halt at several key stations enroute, including Borivali, Dahanu Road, Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, and Vadodara, in both directions. This train will be equipped with a mix of AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class Coaches to cater to a wide range of passengers. Bookings for these special trains (Train Nos. 09461 & 09462) will open on January 22, 2025, at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and on the IRCTC website.
