Hyderabad-based MTAR Technologies Ltd reported a 1,310% year-on-year surge in profit after tax to Rs 60 crore for the second quarter of FY27, while revenue from operations rose 200% to a record Rs 407 crore.
The company’s profit after tax stood at Rs 4 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26. The latest results mark MTAR Technologies’ highest-ever quarterly revenue for a second quarter, according to the company, with growth driven by execution across its clean energy, aerospace and defence businesses.
MTAR Technologies manufactures mission-critical precision-engineered systems for clean energy applications, including civil nuclear power, fuel cells and hydel power. It also supplies components and systems for the aerospace and defence sectors. The company operates 16 manufacturing units in Hyderabad, including an export-oriented unit.
The performance places Hyderabad’s advanced manufacturing base at the centre of the company’s expansion across sectors that require high-precision engineering and specialised production capabilities. MTAR Technologies said its operations are supported by longstanding relationships with Indian organisations and global original equipment manufacturers.
Managing director Parvat Srinivas Reddy said the company expects the second half of FY27 to be stronger than the first half. He attributed the outlook to a robust order book and continued execution momentum.
“We remain focused on strengthening our presence across key business segments; execution continues to be our key priority,” Reddy said. He added that the company was confident of sustaining strong growth momentum over the coming years, supported by industry conditions across the clean energy, aerospace and defence sectors.
The results also highlight the scale of activity being generated by Hyderabad’s industrial and technology-linked manufacturing ecosystem. MTAR Technologies’ portfolio spans civil nuclear power, fuel cells, hydel power, aerospace and defence, linking its local manufacturing footprint to both domestic institutions and global original equipment manufacturers.
The company’s reported numbers, however, cover the quarter ended September 2026 and do not provide a detailed segment-wise or facility-wise breakdown in the information available. Its stated next step is to maintain execution momentum and pursue growth across its existing business segments during the second half of FY27.
