An Ahmedabad warehouse theft near Sanathal Circle has led to the loss of Apple devices and other electronic goods valued at ₹99.98 lakh, after two masked men allegedly entered the facility and escaped within an hour, according to a report by Nav Gujarat Samay – Ahmedabad.
The warehouse, located in a company shed near Sanathal Circle in Ahmedabad’s rural outskirts, was targeted from its rear side. The report said the suspects approached on foot through an adjoining farm and entered the premises after removing sheets fitted to the warehouse wall.
Once inside, the two men took high-value electronic products before leaving through the same route. The stolen goods reportedly include 40 iPhone 17 units, 30 iPhone 16 units, 36 Apple Watches, 26 laptops, two iPads and 20 keyboards. The total value of the stolen inventory has been estimated at ₹99.98 lakh.
The incident has brought attention to the security challenges faced by warehouses located along Ahmedabad’s expanding peripheral development and logistics corridors. Facilities in such areas are often surrounded by agricultural land, access roads and industrial sheds, creating multiple entry points that can be difficult to monitor continuously. The report, however, does not provide details about the warehouse’s security arrangements or whether the premises had guards, alarms or other access-control systems.
Changodar police reached the site after being informed about the theft and began examining CCTV footage from the warehouse and surrounding areas. According to the report, the cameras captured two masked suspects during the break-in. Investigators are using the footage to identify the men and trace their movements after the theft.
The police have registered a case and intensified the investigation. The reported method of entry suggests that the suspects used the warehouse’s less-visible rear boundary rather than the main access point. Investigators are examining the available footage and other evidence from the premises, although the supplied report does not specify whether any arrests have been made or whether the stolen goods have been recovered.
The case also highlights the growing importance of security planning for storage facilities serving Ahmedabad’s commercial and technology-goods markets. Warehouses on the city’s edges form part of the wider supply chain for consumer electronics, but their protection depends on both physical infrastructure and local policing coverage. The next official update is expected to follow the CCTV-based investigation by Changodar police.
