InvoiceCloud will invest ₹350 crore over the next three years to expand its innovation hub in Hyderabad, adding staff, infrastructure and artificial intelligence capabilities as the U.S.-headquartered digital billing and payment solutions company increases the city’s role in its global product development operations.
The company said the investment will support team expansion, infrastructure, AI initiatives and product development. InvoiceCloud established its Hyderabad operations in 2024 and has since grown its India team to more than 250 employees.
The workforce is expected to reach 300 employees by the end of this year, with further growth planned over the following three years. The expansion will cover engineering, product and AI teams, according to the company.
InvoiceCloud has also increased its Hyderabad office footprint by 50% to 33,000 sq ft. The additional space is intended to provide capacity for the company’s expanding teams and technology work. The announcement links the physical expansion of the office to the company’s plans for product development and artificial intelligence initiatives.
“Hyderabad is becoming a bigger part of how we build for our customers, and that’s being driven by the results the team is delivering,” InvoiceCloud chief executive officer Kevin O’Brien said. “This investment gives us the people, technology and capacity to build on that progress over the next three years,” he said.
The announcement places the company’s Hyderabad centre within a wider pattern of global technology firms using Indian offices for engineering and product functions, though InvoiceCloud did not provide a detailed breakdown of the proposed ₹350-crore spending. The company also did not specify how the investment would be distributed between recruitment, office infrastructure, technology systems and research or product development.
For Hyderabad, the immediate measurable effects are the planned increase in employment from more than 250 staff to 300 this year, the proposed continued workforce expansion and the enlargement of the company’s office footprint. The announcement does not include a project-wise implementation schedule, additional locations or details of any public-sector support.
InvoiceCloud’s statement identifies the next three years as the investment period. The company’s stated next steps are to expand its people, infrastructure and AI and product-development capacity from its Hyderabad innovation hub.
