The Central Railway has announced revised schedules for several key Express trains operating on the Mumbai CST route. These changes, effective from August 24, 2024, will primarily impact three major trains: the Nagercoil – Mumbai CST Express (Train Nos. 16352 and 16340) and the Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mumbai CST Express (Train No. 16332).
The adjustments are designed to better align the trains’ timings with current operational requirements, thereby improving overall service reliability. The most notable change involves Train No. 16352, the Nagercoil – Mumbai CST Express, which will see several departures adjusted along its route. From August 25, 2024, the train will maintain its departure from Daund at 13:45/13:50, while subsequent departures from key stations have been revised. The train will now depart Pune at 15:00/15:05, Lonavala at 16:22/16:25, Kalyan at 17:47/17:50, Thane at 18:07/18:10, and Dadar at 18:37/18:40, ultimately arriving at Mumbai CST at 19:05.
Similarly, Train No. 16340, another service on the Nagercoil – Mumbai CST route, will also undergo schedule modifications from August 26, 2024. Departures from Daund remain unchanged at 13:45/13:50, while the revised timings for other stations include Pune at 15:00/15:05, Kalyan at 17:47/17:50, Thane at 18:07/18:10, and Dadar at 18:37/18:40, with an arrival at Mumbai CST scheduled for 19:05.
Train No. 16332, the Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mumbai CST Express, will implement its new timetable starting August 24, 2024. The train will continue to depart from Daund at 13:45/13:50, while subsequent adjustments include departures from Pune at 15:00/15:05, Lonavala at 16:22/16:25, Kalyan at 17:47/17:50, Thane at 18:07/18:10, and Dadar at 18:37/18:40, with the final arrival at Mumbai CST at 19:05.
These changes come as part of Central Railway’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations and ensure better punctuality and connectivity for passengers. By optimising the timings of these critical services, the railway aims to mitigate delays and enhance the overall travel experience for commuters. It Is important to note that these schedule revisions apply solely to the aforementioned trains on their respective routes to Mumbai CST. Central Railway has clarified that there are no changes to the timings of trains operating in other Zones, Divisions, or Stations at this time.
