The CREDAI-MCHI Dronagiri Unit has marked a significant milestone with its inaugural Change of Guard event, transferring leadership from Deep Rajpal to Rakesh Prajapati. Prajapati will now spearhead the unit as its new President.
Dronagiri and Uran, located in the Raigad district and strategically positioned near the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), are emerging as pivotal areas for real estate investment in Navi Mumbai and the broader Mumbai region. Dronagiri, in particular, is becoming a focal point for development due to its proximity to one of India’s largest ports, which is expected to drive considerable growth and investment. Both Dronagiri and Uran are poised for substantial transformation, bolstered by major infrastructure projects such as the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) and the Mumbai-Trans Harbour Link (MTHL). These projects are anticipated to enhance connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and attract further investment, positioning these regions as prime locations for future real estate ventures.
CREDAI-MCHI developers are actively engaged in the structured development of Dronagiri and Uran, focusing on modernising infrastructure and facilitating planned community development. Their efforts aim to address the growing demand for both affordable and high-quality housing, ensuring that the real estate market in these areas remains organised and sustainable. The commitment of CREDAI-MCHI and its associated developers is crucial in shaping the development of these emerging nodes. By leveraging their expertise, the association is driving top-tier real estate and infrastructure projects that contribute to the well-structured and sustainable growth of Dronagiri and Uran. As Dronagiri and Uran continue to attract attention for their development potential, CREDAI-MCHI’s role remains vital in steering these areas towards becoming well-planned, thriving urban hubs in Navi Mumbai.
Rakesh Prajapati, President of CREDAI-MCHI Dronagiri Unit, said, “It gives me immense honor to take over as President from Deep Rajpal, who has done wonderful work as the Founder President. During my tenure, I plan to focus on the development of Dronagiri and Uran. We will hold regular monthly meetings to discuss all major issues and organize educative seminars at least once a quarter to benefit all members on various important topics. We will visit prominent builder sites and offices to learn about the new technologies being used in the industry. Additionally, we will organize festival events, participate in sports events with CREDAI-MCHI main, and actively promote Dronagiri and Uran to increase the exposure of these micro markets. Our unit will also participate in events organized by other associations in Navi Mumbai and engage in all activities of CREDAI-MCHI main. We will continue to represent our issues with CIDCO, the Government of Maharashtra, the airport authority, and all related authorities to resolve our issues.”
