Hyderabad Necklace Rotary Traffic Changes Begin Friday
Hyderabad: Traffic movement around Necklace Rotary and Lake View Park will be altered on Friday as the city hosts the inauguration of a Mahatma Jyotirao Phule statue. The temporary restrictions will begin at 2 p.m. and continue until the programme ends, with the duration subject to traffic conditions. The changes are expected to affect several routes connecting central Hyderabad with the Necklace Road area.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued diversion instructions to manage vehicle movement around the event site. The measures are intended to keep traffic flowing while limiting conflicts near the venue. Vehicles travelling from the Secretariat towards I-Max will be redirected through the Khairatabad flyover and VV Statue. Traffic moving from People’s Plaza and VV Statue towards I-Max will instead be sent towards the Secretariat. Another diversion will affect motorists approaching Necklace Rotary from Iqbal Minar. Traffic heading towards Banyan Tree, Mint Compound, Printing Press and Necklace Rotary will be redirected towards Secretariat Junction. Vehicles coming from Bada Ganesh Lane towards Necklace Rotary will also be diverted through Mint Compound Lane.
