Hyderabad: Intercity travel between Hyderabad and Bengaluru is set to become more convenient after the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) expanded boarding and drop-off points across its long-distance bus network. The move is expected to improve accessibility for passengers while reducing the need to travel to major bus terminals before beginning their journeys.
The expanded Hyderabad Bengaluru bus service now includes additional boarding and alighting locations for AC Sleeper and Non-AC buses operating between the two cities. The revised network is designed to offer passengers greater flexibility by bringing pickup and drop-off points closer to residential, commercial and transit hubs. In Bengaluru, the corporation has introduced new stops across three major travel corridors, improving connectivity to key residential neighbourhoods, metro stations, commercial districts and the airport corridor. The wider coverage is expected to reduce last-mile travel time for commuters while making public transport more accessible across different parts of the city. On the Hyderabad side, passengers can now board and disembark at multiple locations along important urban corridors connecting Patancheru, Jubilee Bus Station (JBS), Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), Aramghar, Shamshabad and Hayathnagar. The additional stops are intended to improve convenience for travellers residing in different parts of the metropolitan region.
