Noida’s BPTP Capital City Achieves LEED, IGBC And WELL Platinum Ratings

BPTP Capital City, a Grade-A commercial project in Noida, has achieved a significant milestone in sustainable real estate by securing Platinum certifications under three major global and national green building standards—U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating system, Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), and the WELL Building Standard.

The recognition highlights the project’s focus on environmentally responsible construction, energy efficiency, and occupant well-being. The LEED v4.1 Operations & Maintenance Platinum certification—awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council—places the development among the most sustainable commercial buildings in India. Developed by BPTP Limited, the commercial complex has been designed as an integrated business district combining Grade-A office spaces with retail outlets, food and beverage zones, and public spaces. The project reflects the developer’s strategy of integrating sustainability principles into large-scale commercial developments.

Located in Sector-94 along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the project benefits from strong connectivity to major business districts in Delhi-NCR. The complex sits close to the Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro station, linking it with South Delhi hubs such as Jasola, Nehru Place, and Saket while also providing access to Gurugram and central Delhi. The Platinum certification recognises the building’s performance across several environmental metrics including energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor air quality, and waste management systems. The project incorporates features such as energy-efficient glazing, solar energy utilisation, rainwater harvesting, and intelligent building management systems aimed at reducing environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency.

Spread across approximately 14 acres, the mixed-use development is planned as a large commercial ecosystem with office towers, retail spaces, and lifestyle amenities. The project also includes flexible floor plates and high-efficiency office layouts designed to accommodate both large corporations and emerging enterprises. Industry observers note that sustainability certifications are becoming a critical factor in commercial real estate, particularly in major office markets such as Delhi-NCR. Corporates increasingly prioritise environmentally responsible buildings that offer lower operating costs, healthier workplaces, and alignment with ESG goals.

With the triple Platinum certifications, BPTP Capital City strengthens its positioning as a future-ready commercial hub and underscores the growing importance of green building standards in India’s evolving office real estate market.
