This initiative is poised to bring significant relief to industrial companies, workers, and residents in the area.
The project will focus on developing an alternative outer ring road for Chakan, with the objective of easing traffic flow and enhancing connectivity. The primary components of this project include: Medankarwadi to Rase Phata (2.5 km): This section will be developed to provide a smoother transit route, aiding in the decongestion of the main roads. Sanny Company, Nanekarwadi to Samruddhi CNG Pump (1.2 km): This critical stretch aims to enhance access to industrial sites and facilitate the easier movement of goods and employees. Hingane Chowk to Volkswagen Company, Kharabwadi (0.9 km): Improvements in this portion are expected to reduce bottlenecks and ensure better traffic management near major industrial hubs.
The development of these routes is anticipated to significantly alleviate traffic issues, thus enhancing the ease of doing business in the region. Industrial companies, workers, and local residents are expected to benefit from reduced travel times and improved road safety. A few days prior, the secretary of the Federation of Chakan Industries highlighted the dire traffic conditions in the Chakan industrial area. “The traffic situation in the Chakan industrial area has gone from bad to worse.
